Online Dating Fail: I had to share this ridiculous exchange which occurred over a couple of days on Plenty of Fish. I met this guy (never wrote about him) on a hookup site when I first became single. We never met in person because he kept insisting we meet directly at a hotel.
But he reached out to me on POF and after reading his profile it seemed he may have shifted what he was looking for. It said he was looking for a relationship and he’d done a bunch of traveling. Here for your reading pleasure is our unedited exchange (my replies are in italics):Continue reading →
I was away for work for one night. A town I couldn’t get to on a direct flight, so I suffered annoying airport layovers and airplanes so tiny the smallest of carry on bags won’t fit.
Two days of travel for a few hour event; just for me to shake hands and congratulate team members and say thank you. Drink some wine and eat appetizers. I didn’t have Liam and was happy to do it. It’s a seaside town which I love.
I arrived without incident.
As I pulled the rental car into the valet parking for the hotel, I noticed a very cute, very young valet. He came over to retrieve my cars keys, and recited his script of “where are you joining us from today?” Continue reading →
After our late night sexy date, Fourteen and I exchanged the standard that-was-awesome-thank-you text messages.
Then nothing. I was busy with a party (which Fox attended) on Friday, Saturday I had a family wedding and Liam was my date, and Sunday he and I did lazy Sunday type things (we saw Minions. It was great).
The following Monday I sent him a text asking how his weekend went (remember, he knows I blog). We had the following exchange: Continue reading →
I added this feature image because I deliberately put a small pic of my bruises at the end of this post but it seems WordPress likes to make it a feature image, which I didn’t want. Don’t scroll down to the very bottom if you don’t want to see the bruise picture. I’ve offended some people, it seems. Again.
[Part One | Part Two]
I watched the woman writhe and moan under the Dom’s ministrations. It was startling to watch what he was doing, but I could tell he was very skilled. Soon afterwards they were finished, he helped her down off the cross (words I can’t say I ever thought I would write), people applauded, and off she went.
He came over to me. We laughed about meeting at the gangbang night without even realizing. We chatted as if I wasn’t standing in from of him almost naked and he didn’t have a whip in his hand. I asked him about his Prince Albert piercing…I’m admittedly, a little curious.
Then he asked me if I wanted to get on the cross. I must have looked terrified so he walked me over to the big bag he had on an ottoman and showed me a few things.
Knowing about my bad experience with the Dom at the gangbang night, he explained that in these situations, it’s the Sub that has all the power. He told me he would start slow and gentle and be constantly checking in with me to see how I was doing. He told me I could use three words – Yellow to say I was reaching my limit, Red to say I was at my limit, and a third word (unique to people from my area) which means stop immediately.
Jason led me by the hand to the play space. It was already filling up with couples and single men. Jason and the husband (we’ll just call him “H”) picked a platform bed. His wife (“W”) still hadn’t said anything but he said “oh, she likes you a lot”.
It was surreal.
H said “we usually like to start with massages; do you like massages?”
I really wished it was Jason’s hands on me. Throughout the next hour I would always know the second he touched me… I suppose after 18 months it makes sense. (And for anyone relatively new to this blog and wondering why Jason isn’t my boyfriend…he found out shortly after we started dating, in the Fall of 2013, that he had a 9 month old. His son lives with him now and he’s been slowly determining with the mother of his child whether they are going to get back together). Continue reading →
Monday I was able to end my three-week long sex dry spell with a hookup at a sex club. Tuesday night I had crazy-but-empty sex with Lewis and then realized there was no future with him as he had been slowly fading away. Then I had a great night on Wednesday night with Tony, and acknowledged despite how I feel about him, there was no near-term future with him either. Tony and I were planning to have our talk on Saturday night. It was tentative depending on how his work went.
Thursday night I got home, fussed online, and watched television. I had met a couple of interesting prospects on Plenty of Fish who seemed normal, mature, articulate, and keen to meet. They met or exceeded my guidelines. But with plans on Friday to have dinner with a girlfriend, a potential date on Saturday with Tony, and then getting my son Liam on Sunday for the week, it seemed it wasn’t going to work in the near term. That was Wednesday night. We planned to see each other the following Tuesday. Even if he turned out to not be relationship potential, I was really excited to experience someone of his size. Shallow, perhaps, but I wanted it to happen. If needed, I was even going to break one of my texting guidelines (generally let them set the pace of communications) in order for that to happen.
Thursday morning I sent him a “good morning handsome” text. No response. At 1pm I told him he was responsible for my inability to focus on my work. He said:
“Good Afternoon! Me? Innocent little me? Well…I’m sorry but it was worth it! I pictured you on your hands and knees and I was eating your pussy and ass out from behind…then I slept like a baby…”
Eight months ago when I first joined FetLife, he reached out to me. He was my height, built, dark skinned, and well-endowed. He frequents a local sex club; otherwise his life is fairly vanilla. He goes mid-week, in the afternoon.
We simply couldn’t get our schedules aligned to meet, and then I went on a hiatus while I was dating Tony. He was one of the ones (along with Dale and Lisa) I reached out to when I got back online. We’ve been trying to find a time that works for both of us, and it had never worked out.
Until Monday. In the midst of my anxiety about Lewis and whether he was evaporating, I knew I needed to be busier. Work hasn’t really taken off yet and there’s only so much messing about I can do online and avoiding the gym. It’s not that I lack for things to do. Continue reading →
We texted a bit about what brought me to town. I told him I debated whether to leave him that message and worried he’d think I was a crazy person. He said “Well I don’t think you are crazy at all. You are pretty cool doing that and I have to say right when I heard your message I remembered you instantly!”
I took that as a good sign, so I said:
I was hoping you would! In the moment I thought if I said something flirty you’d think I was just trying to get out of the ticket.
Him: Yeah, I would have thought that. What are your plans today? I think I may have lost your ticket; you should give me your copy so I can destroy it too then.
Oh my goodness. He’s asking to meet, basically. He knows I have a kid. What the fuck do I do? Back to the “only live once” philosophy. I didn’t think anything would really come of my message. But, it did. I explained we had afternoon and dinner plans but were free in the morning. Before I knew it he was offering to come by and say hi. We joked about it being a bit weird – that I didn’t want to seem too forward (yeah, try not to fall off your chair laughing with that one) or him too creepy. He was a fucking cop for crying out loud. On duty, which meant he’d be in uniform. Continue reading →
One day on my vacation with my son, on our way to a destination, I got pulled over for speeding. It was a speed trap of sorts, where the limit goes down significantly due to construction, the police kindly sitting just after the limit goes down and picking us all off with radar, one by one. Of course there were signs, but I was somewhat distracted by the GPS, figuring out which exit to take, etcetera. I had no idea I was speeding.
One policeman gestures where I’m supposed to go. As I pull up I switch my sunglasses for my glasses and take out my drivers license, ready to hand it to the officer. The next thing I know, I’m looking up at a very handsome man. In uniform. With a hat that reminds me of New York State Troopers. He’s smiling at me and says “nice watch”. Continue reading →
